Chevrolet is enabling the One World Futbol Project to distribute 1.5 million ultra-durable footballs over the next three years to impoverished areas, refugee camps and conflict zones. The mission is to use football to resolve conflicts, teach tolerance, help kids recover from trauma and build community. And you can become a supporter of this endeavor.
Chevrolet launched the special edition gold One World Futbol in October 2012. In partnership with One World Futbol Project the virtually-indestructible ball has been distributed to war stricken and impoverished countries such as Indonesia, Liberia, Mexico, and Malawi, to name just a few. By January 2013 over 100,000 balls will have been shipped to children in need of a ball that will never go flat. We invite you to watch this video of Sting and inventor Jim Jahnigen introducing One World Futbol Project, then share it with your friends to pass on the Power of Play.
